He is a cert iv Training and assessment and is the current President if the Australia Association of Tai Ji Quan and a founding member The Awakened Heart centre for conscious living.

After a number of years following the traditional disciple relationship with a Herbal Master, his teacher, Master Li  instructed Stephen to come to Sydney and undertake university level training. he foretold a time when Chinese Medicine practitioners would need comprehensive Western Science to underpin the traditional knowledge, this has now come to be. This led Stephen to undertake his initial four years full-time training in Australia as well as another two years part time in Shiatsu Massage. He then travelled to the China to gain first hand experience, completing 3 Intern training programs in Chinese Herbal Medicine use at Hospital level and Acupuncture for special diseases. He has certification from these studies including the respected Cheng Du University of T.C.M.

He is a member in good standing with the peak body for Acupuncture in Australia, the A.A.C.M.A. (Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association.) Stephen also holds professional membership with F.C.M.A. (Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine) and A.T.M.S. (Australian Traditional Medicine Association)

Stephens journey began when he started Yoga, Meditation and Martial Arts in 1976. He has now taught various styles of Martial Arts and hold senior belts in several styles with his first Black belt almost 30 years ago.

His styles have included but are not limited to, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Aikido, Karate & Kung Fu and Ba Gua. Since taking vows of non violence in 1995 his life follows a more peaceful path and he no longer wishes to pursue these Arts. Instead he devotes his practice to Tai Ji Quan, Qi Gong & Meditation. He has taught Eastern Martial Arts and Meditation Continually since 1980.

Stephen has dedicated his life to raising awareness and helping himself and others find true happiness and the one cause of happiness.(ask Him)

Although his studies are broad and deep he feels that Knowledge is useful however true healing required both the attention of both the practitioner and patient to activate the healing wisdom of the body.

He has found that Wisdom can only arise when we truly know who we are, when we learn to settle the mind and gain some space from our habitual reactions.

All of Stephen's patients have one thing in common, they are looking for more than a quick fix, they are on the path of self transformation.
