A. An initial evaluation to obtain a history and examine you is necessary. The practitioner will discuss your condition and the options for treatment. Your practitioner will let you know the degree to which he thinks he may help you. He may feel with some patients one or two treatments will get them back on track. For others he may tell you he feels he is unlikely to improve your condition. You can ask any questions you need to at the initial consultation.

Q. What can I expect to happen at my first treatment?

A. The practice seeks to treat everyone on time. From time to time it may be necessary to complete a treatment and run over shedule. It is unusual for you to wait more than 10 minutes for your appointment.

Q. Are the treaments offered covered by medicare, work cover or health fund rebates?
A. Strange as it may seem medicare only cover Acupuncture provided by a Western Trained Doctor.
