Stephen has practiced massage for over 20 years and has practiced Shiatsu for over 12 years and is a strong advocate of this respectful style of massage therapy.The style that he uses is called Zen Shiatsu becasue it is performed with a high level of mindfullness and engages at a deeper level than just mental function.
During Shiatsu you respectfully covered with a large dark sheet although strong, should not be vigorous or overly painful. The idea od Shatsu is to gently engage the inner healing intelligence of the body.
